ABOUT BEN & ROUNDTABLE MEDIA
While growing up with his family in Augusta, Ben Goss could often be found behind the lens of a camera capturing memories at holiday gatherings, birthday parties and on family vacations. As a Communications major with a concentration in Film and Television at Augusta University, Ben was awarded membership to the National Communication Honor Society and Lambda Pi Et. After earning his degree in 2009, he quickly secured a position at a local doctor's office while pursuing freelance video projects on the side, and he filmed his first wedding soon after. However, Ben's big break came in 2011 when he landed a production assistant position for WJBF NEWS Channel 6. And in less than two short years, Ben was promoted to the full-time evening news photojournalist at WJBF. As a photojournalist, Ben not only gained valuable knowledge and extensive experience behind the camera, but he was privileged to interview and film a wide range of people from celebrities to world-class athletes including Super bowl champion, Dion Grant; Actor, Quinton Aaron from The Blind Side; and country music star Luke Bryan. Through these interactions, Ben realized his passion.
Combining his education and experience with his desire to help others share their stories through his camera, RoundTable Media was formed. Having been blessed to work on a variety of creative projects with wonderful clients since 2015, Ben was honored to recently assist in filming a panel discussion on the Tuskegee Airman at the National Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. Ben's camera work from that panel discussion ran in over 190 theaters in 78 cities across the country as part of a special one-night presentation honoring the Airmen.
